EggEgg has a really weird accent when it comes to speaking Cantonese. He's an ABC (Australian Born Chinese) all right, but he hasn't start speaking English yet. So where did this strange accent come from?
Yesterday, we were enjoying our favourite "Golden GayTime" ice cream. I taught EggEgg, "Look, this is called 'Gay Time 雪糕' [gei-tam-shu-go]".
EggEgg tried really really hard to learn this essential word. It is crucial for him to get it right so that he can have this same yummy treat again.
So he tried. "雞...湯...跌...膏..." (Translate: Chicken Soup Sprain Medicine)
