蛋 [dan]
Origin: EggEgg has been called a plethora of nicknames since birth, and that had lead him to much confusion. Variants of his nicknames are 蛋蛋, 蛋豬, 蛋仔, 蛋頭, 蛋D. He has never really understood why some people called him Toby. Who the heck is this Toby?
哪哪 [na-na]
Date of first discovery by Dr Egg: 14 months old
Definition: After a lot of probing from puzzled parents, it was later understood that the word actually mean "EggEgg". He was referring to himself! After many attempts of trying to correct his pronunciation, the proper [Dan-Dan] was lost on the toddler. He insisted on calling himself [Na-Na]. It's remains a mystery to other friends who do not understand why EggEgg keeps on repeating "Nana, nana, nana" all day long.
Example:
哪哪! I want to do it myself.
哪哪! I want that too.
哪哪! Me me me.
蛋 [dan]
Date of first discovery by Dr Egg: 2 1/2 years old
Definition: Egg. The real thing. The boiled egg. The Easter egg.
Usage notes: Although EggEgg has now mastered the correct pronunciation of "Egg", he still insisted on calling himself [Na-Na]. *Sigh*
