Just when we think that we have sufficiently covered all variants of the influenza virus, Cola went down with a middle ear infection the week we went on holiday. And when we got home, EggEgg brought home the diarrhea bug which is then passed on to Cola.
But wait, there's more! We're on the 4th round of flu right now. Cola's coughing up mucus mixed with milk. I'm coughing voicelessly, having lost my voice for 3 days now.
Worse, EggEgg pretends that he's sick too, with all the fake coughing and whinning, in a desperate attempt to get extra attention. My whispering versus his tantrums, who wins?

Last Sunday was a classic:
EggEgg woke up at 9am, lying idly on his bed, staring at the ceiling. Out of boredom, he began to scream "Mami!! Waaaaaa... wa oh wa oh wa oh wa oh" in sing-song rhythmn which woke the entire family up. It continued for the next 30 minutes when I couldn't take it anymore, stormed into his room, and put an end to it.
At 11am, Tonton played with him for an hour, and EggEgg threw another tantrum when Daddy told him, "I need to make some lunch". Another round of "Baba!! Baba!! Waaaaaaaa..."
Cut to dinner time, Tonton made some congee. EggEgg is playing with his food, spooning the congee all over the table and chair. I am sick of whispering, "Eat properly." "Hurry up and eat." "Eat your food." This must be how nagging moms are born! (I swear I shall not turn into a nagging mum.) So I took firm action. And the congee was finished in 3minutes.
Afterwards, EggEgg took a pear and demanded Tonton to peel and slice for him. When Tonton has lovingly presented the pear in a bowl, EggEgg blatantly refuse to eat it. That's it, I had enough of crap from this little guy in a single day.
