Origin 1: 牛仔褲

Definition: The blue jeans.

The jeans, in particular, the blue colored jeans, signifies an outdoor garment. EggEgg insists on changing to a pair of jeans whenever we go out, even if it is only to the park or supermarket next door. Track pants, shorts, or pyjama pants are an embarrassment to him. Parental persuasion to the contrary is merely a waste of time and energy. Unless all the jeans are in the wash, of course.

Origin 2: 騎牛牛

Definition: To ride on somebody's back.

While most parents might enjoy a ride with their child on their back, it is akin to a torture treatment for us. EggEgg would climb on our back, and vigorously straddle/ rock/ bounce/roll until either party is completely exhausted.

Example:

Baba 牛! I want to ride on Daddy like a cow.

Baybee 牛! Caution: In case you ever hear this line, there is a imminent danger of a 13kg mass sitting on the tiny baby in the next minute or so. Immediate removal of the offending object is advisable.
