Conversations at night

"Did you have fun today?"

I asked EggEgg every night as I switched off the lights and kissed him good night.

Yes! Fun!

"Let's see, what did we do today?"

In the darkness, we cuddled and whisper quietly on what happened during the day. Baby Cola is sleeping in his cot already. This month, due to Tonton's new work arrangements, we had been able to take lots of time together.

"Today we went swimming. Do you like swimming?"

Like!

"Weren't you scared of the water?"

EggEgg is not scared!

"Do you remember what happened to our float?"

We forgot to bring back the float home! Uh-oh!

"Ok, you must close your eyes now. Tomorrow we are going to the zoo. Then tomorrow tomorrow you're going to school. Then tomorrow tomorrow tomorrow tomorrow we'll go on a airplane to see grandma. Do you want to go to zoo?"

In the morning, EggEgg woke up really early. I could hear him dragging some heavy item across the corridor. Standing next to my bed, beaming brightly, he showed me his new blue luggage bag and announced, "Today we're going on a plane!" Argghh... he's got the dates mixed up!
