The considerate big brother

This morning, as usual, EggEgg pattered into the kitchen to grab his breakfast. He got hold of his own bowl, spoon, cup and straw from the drawer, and lingered over the pantry shelf, making the crucial choice: "Hmm... should I have my favorite Cocopop today, or the new Sultana Crunch, or the yummy Nutrigrain?"

Then, he dragged the baby bouncer next to the dining table, and bid me put brother Cola in it so that little bro could join our breakfast too.  "In there!" he instructed me with the frantic pointing.

Being a thoughtful elder brother, EggEgg gave Cola some baby toys to play with.  Satisfied with taking care of little bro, he then climbed onto the high chair, and begin to eat his breakfast by the mouthful.

Sometimes, Cola would cry in the bouncer.
I'd say to him, "You want some cereals too? No, not yet, you have got no teeth."
EggEgg pointed to his own mouth. "Yes you have teeth, so you can have cereals".
He pointed to my mouth. "Yes Mami have teeth too, so I can have cereals".
He pointed to Cola. "No, brother doesn't have teeth yet, that's why he can't have cereals. That's why he can only drink milk."
EggEgg gave a loud "Um!" as if to permit Cola to drink milk instead.

Sometimes Cola's reflux made him vomit all over my clothes.  EggEgg dashed to the tissue box to grab us some wipes for the mess.

At nappy change time for Cola, EggEgg insist that it is his job to pull out wet wipes.  He opened the drawer and chose Cola's "clothes of the day".  On some days, he insisted Cola to wear the Fish bodysuit, at other times, he thinks that Cola should wear the Giraffe set.

When Little Bro is sleepy, EggEgg wrestles the dummy from my hand.  It is his sacred duty to put the dummy into Cola's mouth!  When I tell EggEgg, "Let wait until Little Bro closed his eyes, then we can secretly sneak out to play together." (He loves the word "secretly 靜靜雞", the hint of a conspiracy makes him giggled with delight.)

A kiss and a good bye, we're off to play for the rest of the morning.
