Many happy memories

This is the last night I'm staying at the townhouse in Marsfield. A place of pleasant memories for the last 3 years: countless dinners and laughter with friends over the dinner table, the anticipation and decoration of the nursery for the birth of my two boys, the flourish of the rocky spot that is now the enviable garden, summer barbecues at the courtyard, the long walks with EggEgg on his trike over the course of the steep road during hot afternoons...

EggEgg has been living here since he was born, and this is the place where many of his "first" happened. He has first to crawl up and down this exhausting staircase, learnt to use the vacuum cleaner, the broom, the washing machine. He has made friends with the neighbours cats and dogs, delighted in the game of peeping in through their garden's gate. EggEgg has learnt to appreciate nature, discovering birds and butterflies and lizards from my garden. He first noticed the moon as we walked down the driveway at night. This morning he was trying to pick up the "stick" from the garden, no it wasn't a stick, it's a plant that I have just pruned to the ground.

I'm going to miss this place. Good bye.
