Double the potty, double the wee?

Last week, we've started toilet training EggEgg. I am tired of being bombarded with comments from grandparents requesting me to toilet train him ASAP. He's not even 2 years old! Please spare me from your nagging...

Our devised reward plan had worked wonders: 2 mini M&Ms for a pee, 4 mini M&Ms for a poo. So far, he'd been really enthusiastic about trying his luck on the potty. (For he still hasn't gotten the skill of releasing his bladder yet. It's a case of "sit there long enough and something will happen magically." And if Mami is willing, there is a storybook or two to relieve the boredom too!) Hence, the potty has been a big drawcard these days.

Encouraged by the continuous success, I bought Egg Egg a second potty for the toilet downstairs yesterday.

This morning, when potty time came, Egg Egg dragged the new potty into the toilet upstairs to line them up side by side. I was wondering what all this is about. First, he sat on the old potty. After 30 seconds, he stood up and did an inspection. Hmm... nothing. Then, he moved over to sit on the new potty. Again, he stood up after 30 seconds. I was roaring with laughter at his wry logic: as if sitting on 2 potties will double his chances on hitting the jackpot of 4 M&Ms!
