A pleasant day with one very small child

Life with a small child is both hectic and idyllic at the same time.

0800 EggEgg wakes up and picks up his favourite book, "Tractor and Diggers" to read while I attempt to continue sleeping.

1000 Daddy's off to work.  We are both awake and hungry.  EggEgg deliberated for sometime over the choice of cereals.  He picks Cocopop today.

1100  We poured through past photo albums.  EggEgg is particularly curious about my previous trips to China and Tasmania.  He moves onto picture books while I prepare some DIY templates for fixing the house later.

1200  EggEgg rips open a new toy pizza set, it's a gift from Oma in Jakarta.  He can't stop cutting and serving pizza.

1300  Sandwich lunch. EggEgg loves ham and cheese.

1400  I took out the jigsaw and started to cut some wood pieces.  EggEgg cheers me on. DIY is never easy, it's a man's hard work.

1500 We have some cool shaved ice as a reward for our effort.  The joy on his face is priceless.

1600 Daddy's almost home.  We went out to our small courtyard and water our pot plants.  But wait, we could play hide and seek behind the large lemon tree too.  The neighbour's cat came into our house uninvited. EggEgg is excited to see a stray cat.

1700 Daddy's home! Let's go for a early evening trike riding with Daddy around the block and to pick up the mail.

1800 Is it too early for toilet training?  EggEgg has another accident again today.

1900 All that excitement during the day, and now he's fallen asleep in high chair while dinner is served.  And now, it's my time to take a break.
