It is unfair to make generalized comparison of children, but I am having a feeling that my two kids will be vastly different from each other.
When EggEgg was inside my tummy, he has been super-active from the start. (That's why he's called "EggEgg", coz he kept rolling around!) He gave me insomnia each night with his active kicking. At that time, I was busy with university assignments and lectures day in day out, with my brain leaking juice on solving partial differential equations, complex analysis of the boundary layer, stock pricing based on Black-Scholes models. My major hobby was cycling and playing boardgames.
Under such a fetal environment, EggEgg turned out to be:
* a very active toddler who never like to sleep
* very demanding, impatient, passionate about his likes and dislikes
* loves books
* loves all things mechanical (my DIY projects, toys that involves building)
* loves bikes and trikes and scooters
*********************
Now, with Cola inside my tummy, I spent the past 1 year doing nothing "intellectual". My average read was about 5 pages of Sunday newspaper every weekend. I spent all my time playing and eating all day long with EggEgg.
Under this environment, Cola behaves very differently in my tummy. He is:
* very quiet, hardly gives me any trouble at all
* does not like to show his face with the ultrasound scan, unlike EggEgg who "looked" at me each time I had a scan. I can't even guess what Cola will look like.
I'm guessing that Cola will have a more shy, quiet, undemanding personality. Probably chubbier too, if he likes to sleep more. Cola will be Tonton's favourite kid... since EggEgg is Mami's boy.
Let's see if my guess turn out to be true in 10 years time...
