EggEgg's Theme Songs

• Before EggEgg was born, one of my favorite toy was a Mickey Mouse bought recently from Disneyland. Tonton & I both declared ourselves to be "Mickey's Best Friend" and I even make up a song for our fan club.

• How did the nickname EggEgg came about? We were lazing around Manly Beach around 2 months before he was born, I was wearing a white T-shirt and I just felt that EggEgg is like a hot round thing that's cooking inside my belly. The sun was shinning, the breeze was warm, and I made up a spontaneous song for him that goes like this:

• After EggEgg is born, the little fella became the center of our lives. There's another silly song which I sang all the time while feeding him. It goes like this:

蛋蛋最乖乖 EggEgg is a very very good boy
蛋蛋我唔瀝去賣 Mami won't sell EggEgg for all the money in the world

• As EggEgg becomes more mobile and active, I used to play with EggEgg on the bed, roll around, chase after him, while singing this:

• The downside is, EggEgg has never been a good sleeper. It's very difficult to put him to naps, and he usually wakes up as soon as I pop out of the bedroom. I used to hum this lullaby to him everyday, for at least a dozen times, like a broken recorder, until I fall asleep myself.

• Now that EggEgg is a fun-loving toddler that goes around and play all day non-stop, like a toy that never needs batteries, I look forward to the time when the clock strikes 8:30pm. That signals the end of the day!! Tonton & I would both sing this song as we put him to bed:
