Wow, it's been a good day

Today, I managed to vacuum the house, change bedsheets, clean the toilet, do the laundry, wash the dishes, clear up the storage shed, bath the baby, all before 3pm! There were no tears, no tantrums from EggEgg either. 

EggEgg had an enjoyable day too: favourite food all day (chocolate milk for breakfast, apple juice & home-made pizza for lunch), saw the awesome truck picking the garbage bin from our front steps, watched "Thomas & Friends" DVD over and over.  He even voluntarily took an afternoon nap, with the 3 of us on the same bed.  Then, we had a yummy seafood dinner without power struggles, a brief trip to the park and a shower together.

On top of it, I even managed to encourage EggEgg to use the potty 4 times and taught him how to wash his hands all by himself. (How to turn on the tap, how to squeeze soap out of the dispenser, how to dry hands on the towel)

By 9pm, both kids are asleep, I've already bathed and dishes were done.  All this free time at night, I'm so unused to it!

Well done, well done! I'm giving myself a pat on the back.  Wish everyday were smooth like this.
