On having 4 children

Having 4 children now, I can summarise the experience as follows:

With the first child, one learnt to give a lot of love. So much giving that his entire world become yours and your entire world his. Often there is a loss of one's identity.

With the second child, one learnt perspective. The acceptance that each person is an individual, that nobody is perfect, and nature always runs its own course.

With the third child, one learnt enjoyment. With wisdom and experience of raising children already under the belt, now is the time to truly enjoy each child as they are, with all the quirks and challenges, rewards and milestones.

With the forth child... I have yet to find out.
