This is what EggEgg told me when I picked him up from school today, in Chinese.
"... Today Miss Jo gave me some xmas candy. This time it is Miss Jo who give each kid. Last time it was Miss Karla who gave out candy. Mami, can I eat the candy when I get home? I am hungry I want some afternoon tea.
And this morning it didn't rain yet, so we play sand. Then it rained and there is lighting. The teachers let us watch a bit of TV today. Not a lot, just a little bit, like at home. It was Toy Story 3.
Then we have to go to wash our hands and eat. There are 3 WC in the toilet, and 2 washing area. All the kids have to line up first. When we are eating, it's the 5 years old kids' turn to watch TV. I finish eating my whole lunch box today.
Mami, what did you and Cola do today?"
This is truly leaps and bounds for my little boy who couldn't speak English and who has moderate language learning delay!
