Previous attempts of EggEgg trying to draw has been unsuccessful. He can't draw people, he can't draw a car, and his best pictures has been of ladders. (Two long strokes, lots of short horizontal lines... how can one go wrong?) EggEgg has truly got his father's genes...
For the first time today, we discovered that EggEgg is able to draw a human-like figure. There it was, on the Father's day card made at his pre-school.
"Wow... look at this. Who's this person?"
"That's Daddy. I draw a smiling mouth."
"Funny hair. Hmm... where are his ears?"
"I forgot to draw."
"And his nose?"
"I forgot to draw."
"How come he's got 4 hands?"
"No, Mami, you're wrong. There are only 2 hands. And these," he proudly pointed, "are Daddy's moustache."
Today I learn some new facts:
(1) All fathers in pictures must have moustaches as a sign of being The Father.
(2) Even if they are usually clean shaven in daily life, refer to rule #1.
(3) A similar principle applies for mothers: all mothers in pictures must wear dresses AND have curly hair.
