We love Fancy Gem Biscuits

This is one of my earliest childhood memory from 30 years ago. I was in kindergarten, and every day I'd look eagerly forward to tea time. My teacher would open 2 packets of biscuits, come around to our table, and put 2 biscuits on our individual little plastic plate. The biscuits were different each day. I love it most when it happens to be Fancy Gem or Coconut Slice! On those occasions, I would even overcome my extreme shyness, and bring my plate over to the teacher to ask for a second helping. (Of course I'd love a third helping, the fear of rejection by my teacher is too much of a risk to take.)

This afternoon EggEgg and I were sharing some Fancy Gem biscuits for tea. There were only about 10 pieces left in the packet, and we chomped them down with delight. At last, there was only 1 left, I held it up and announced, "Ah, this is the last one. I wonder who should eat it?" I half expected EggEgg to grab and eat it. To my pleasant surprise, he took it from my hand and shoved it in my mouth. Heehee... I feel so loved!

Over dinner I recounted this incident to Tonton. With a jealous tone, he complained to EggEgg, "See? You loved Mami most! You'd hardly do this for me..."
