Bobo, with only the financial ability of a 5 year old, saved up a nice red-and-green shoe box, a cellophane bag from a friend's xmas party last week, some ribbons and made Cola a lovely birthday present.
Although he couldn't write the word "To Isaac, Happy Birthday", his birthday card has 4 fully decorated sides of balloons and stickers. Vivid colors, obviously a heart-felt creation.
In the cellophane bag he put in a xmas bauble (taken from the garage storage box), a Lego pencil sharpener (which Cola traded away last week with him, but Bobo has returned it to Cola in the form of a gift), and a pipe-cleaner craft that he has made at pre-school.
It's so touching to see Bobo gave all that he could to celebrate his brother's birthday.
When Bobo was praised, Cola added indignantly, "I had to remind him yesterday to make me a present!"
As for Egg, he gave nothing. He explained, "I gave Cola lots of fresh air, and it's free."
