Iron Chef

The SBS channel has been airing the Japanese Iron Chef series for at least 6 years, and only last month has EggEgg discovered its allure.  It is the only constant TV program that we ever watch every week.

Since watching that epic battle between Hiroyuki Sakai and Chen Kenichi, EggEgg has decided to invent his own version of Iron Chef.

"I'm the blue Japanese chef, Cola is the yellow Chinese chef"
"Mami, you sit on this chair, you're now the judge."

EggEgg ran to the baby bouncer and announced, "Today's ingredient is chestnut!" (An inspiration from too many bowls of yummy chestnut rice cooked by Oma.)

After tossing all the plastic food together in a plastic bowl, they brought the dishes to me for tasting and judgement.
"Mami, this is chestnut pasta."  EggEgg introduced proudly.
"Mami, this is fish." Cola followed with his own plate of plastic fishes.  "Where's the chestnut?"  "Inside the fish."
"Which one is yummier? Who wins today?"  EggEgg demanded to know.

There really is no way of telling which is yummier, so the fairest way is to just let each kid win once.
"But why did Cola win this time? My pasta is yummy too."
Erm...

At night, it's Tonton's turn to be the judge.  I can tell there's gonna be a couple more days of endless chestnut cooking...
