Origin: 玩一陣 Play a while, play a short while
Definition: 玩 Five 陣 "Play five while" is the plural form of "Play a while". The number Five is mysteriously equivalent to the Infinity in a toddlers world. This illusion is probably brought about by the limitation of counting on one hand.
Usage notes:
Mami: "It's time for bed now."
EggEgg: "EggEgg doesn't want to sleep ah."
Mami: "You don't want to sleep? What do you want to do then?"
EggEgg: "EggEgg wants to play ah."
Mami: "Ok, you can play just for a while."
EggEgg: "No, I don't want to play a while. I want to play FIVE while."
