Promise of a train ride

Monday
Bobo: "Can we go have sushi for lunch again?"
Me: "Didn't we just had sushi for lunch last Friday with Daddy at Chatswood?"
Bobo: "Can we have a train ride?"
Me: "Maybe. Perhaps later this week."

Tuesday
Bobo: "Can we have a train ride?"
Tonton: "Kiss me first, then I might consider it."
*Kiss kiss* (More than the usual quota)
Tonton is smiling from cheek to cheek.

Wednesday
Bobo: "Can we have a train ride?"
Tonton: "Er... I was planning to take you today, but Mami is going out ice-skating after dinner."

At this point, I had to remind Tonton that:
* he should fulfill a promise which he has made to a little child
* he should not use me as an excuse to get out of a promise
Tonton looked slightly ashamed of himself.

Thursday
Bobo: "Can we have a train ride?"
Me: "Daddy is going to take you on a train ride."
Bobo: "Can we go today? Then we can go eat some sushi."
Me: "No, today Daddy is working."
Bobo: "Which day does he not need to go to work?"
Me: "Two more days. He just need to work for two more days then he will have a holiday."

Thursday afternoon
Bobo holding up his finger. "One more day, Daddy just need to work one more day."

Thursday evening
While Tonton was cooking dinner, I reminded him of his promise.

(... to be continued. Will Bobo gets his train ride? Will Tonton live up to his promise? Find out in the next episode.)
