Just as Cola has loves the creatures undersea (His favoruite being his shark schoolbag, shark tshirt, shark shorts, and the Octonauts), Bobo has taken a fondness to monkey theme items: the brown monkey onesie that he even wears out for eating sushi (the waitress exclaimed, "ara, Mon-ki! kawaii!") the green moneky t-shirt, the grey jogger pants with the monkey picture at the bottom. And a monkey school bag.
"Look, the banana has turned yellow. Actually, if the banana turn from green to yellow, it means you can eat it." Bobo has taught me the art of picking bananas in a matter-of-fact tone.
"Mami, can you help me open this banana?" Bobo does not have the strength to pry apart the thick banana skin.
"What a lousy monkey you will make, Bobo! Can't even peel your own bananas to eat!" I teasted him.

Today, on the way to see the doctor for his fever, he had a banana in the car. Suddenly, he made an observation while I was stopping at the red lights. "Mami, why are there threads on the banana?" "Threads? Oh they are part of the banana skin. Don't worry about them."
Later in the afternoon, he slept, had his Neurofen and his ear drops, rewatched his favourite DVD "Lost and Found" (his current favourite being: the Octonauts, Thomas the tank engine, Gruffalo, and Laputa. His fondness for Bob the Builder and Timmy Time has weaned a while ago.)
He had a shower and as he was putting on his clothes, he proudly informa me, "Mami, I want to wear the monkey pants today. I can wear my pants myself. See?" He sits on the edge of the mattress, lay the pants neatly and slipped his feet into it. His self-taught way of wearing pants.
As he pulled on his socks, he found some loose threads. "Mami, there are some threads in the socks"
"Yes, they are part of the sock, they form the ladybug picture. If you cut them, the sock will be torn. So just leave them and wear the socks."
"The threads in the socks are just like the threads in the banana." Bobo concluded.
