Return of the Pantry Raider - Ribena

It's early in the hot summer morning and the house is eerily quiet. EggEgg the Pantry Raider sneaked out of his bedroom and decided to make himself a morning wake-up drink. What's better than a nice cold glass of Ribena?

Just like how he's seen Mami do it before, he took out the Ribena concentrate from the pantry, the water jug from the bench top and his little plastic cup. "Aha! Ribena in, water next." The resulting cup glow ominously purple. "Ahhhhh... good..." EggEgg gulped down the entire cupful with a self-satisfied look.

Five minutes later, as he sit playing on the sofa, alone, the hyper-concentrated (almost undiluted Ribena!) wrecked havoc on his stomach and gushed out all over the sofa. A slimy, sticky mess. But no worries! EggEgg calmly proceed to lie in bed next to Mami for comfort. Shhhh... better not wake Mami up. So he lie there, and there comes the next wave of Ribena vomit!!

Mami woke up in shock, seeing a red mess all over her bed, still flowing and spilling down the sides of the mattress. Is EggEgg puking blood or what?

"What have you eaten? Are you feeling sick?"

"娜娜嘔! (EggEgg pukes)"

"Hurry go into the bathroom!!"

So the entire household woke up in alarm at 9am. Cola got up crying. Tonton got up wondering why he has to get up so early during the holidays. Mami got up half-scolding, half-complaining that she only slept for 4 hours. As for EggEgg... he seemed to have recovered well enough that he's already riding his trike round and round the house.

1 glass of undiluted Ribena. 5 man-hours mopping, wiping, changing, bathing, vacuuming, steam-cleaning, laundering.

When EggEgg suggested at 11:30, "Mami, let's play!" Tonton & I were barely able to sit up straight on the dining chair, sipping the first cup of coffee of the day.
