Where is human nature so weak as in the bookstore?

I am a book-aholic. For the past 30 years of my life, I spend a large fortune on acquiring books, many weekends and holidays lying on the couch reading, and even more time devoted to browsing and reading about books. I rode miles to the library by bike, slept countless hours in the library desks, visited the local library in every suburb and country where I lived.

When I am pregnant with EggEgg, he drives me to the ground with nights of insomnia. As soon as I am about to retire to bed, EggEgg would start kicking in my tummy. What's best to do in the dead of the night? Internet shopping!

Is it fate? Around that time, Tonton won 1 grand worth of book vouchers for amazon.com. The entire children library is to be mine. It's such a delicious moment. Night after night, I browse through the vast catalog. Bath books! Cloth books! Touch & feel books! Pop up books! How exciting. I visualise myself reading to EggEgg everyday. Will I get bored? Never!
