One evening egg egg & I were happily soaking in a hot bubble bath, inhaling the sweet aromas and relaxing after yet another exhausting day. I was lying in the tub fully submerged and bub was lying on top of me. The water was beginning to cool a bit, so I sit up to reach for the hot water tap. At that very moment when I was defenseless, the little fella swooped down and (*voila*) latched spot on! "Hey hey!! This is not feeding time!"

And then there was a couple of mornings ago, when egg egg woke up at some unearthly hour wanting to P-L-A-Y. I was sleeping next to him (yes, I'm into co-sleeping with my baby now, and I loved every night of it) and he was howling noisily asking to be picked up to P-L-A-Y. So I rolled over in bed and ignore him, "It's 6am on a bloody winter morning, mate, now go back to sleep!" Next thing I know, he was pulling my hair to wake me up. "Arghh... no way I'm playing with you. Go away." So I pull my jumper hood over my head and ignore him some more. Yup, the next moment he's knocking on my hood, as if demanding, "Hello, is anybody home?"

Why is it that in those magazine photos, the babies are always melting in their mothers' arm, looking so gentle and serene? Well, the other evening there was this very instant that I thought, "oh this is so lovely". Next thing, egg egg is banging on the front of my T-shirt. Bang! Bang! Bang! "Okay, I'll get the roller doors up and open the milk bar."
Moral of the story: Never underestimate a 4-month old baby

Welcome to the club! I've been a mom for almost 13 years now. I was skeptical when in P6 Ms Marilyn said,"Giving birth is the easiest part!". Now, I totally agree!!!
Every time I look at my son (who is already taller than me) makes me wonder how time flies!
Enjoy it while you can!
