It's very very good!

When I was in Primary 4, my school headmistress has the rare insight to invite a drama company to perform at our school. My first ever live performance! (龍的傳人) I fell in love with theatre performances ever since.

It's the last day of the Easter school break, and on the whim of the moment, I bought 2 Wiggles concert ticket at 7am while everyone was still asleep.

EggEgg hasn't been to a live concert before, so he didn't know what to expect. We made sushi rolls for the lunch box, and merrily drove off to the theatre 3 whole hours before the show is due to start.

The Pymont Bay Wharf is located just outside the theatre, so we settled down there for a leisurely lunch instead. From our spot, we could even make out the building where Daddy works. Cola jumped out of fright when a ferry came to the wharf to pick up passengers. There was a sailing boat, a water taxi, a floating restaurant, a red tow-boat... all adding to the excitement of the event to come. "Is it time yet?" EggEgg checked with me every 10 minutes. He was so worried that he'll miss the concert that he gobbled up all the sushi and fruit juice and orange slices in record time.

We can't wait any more. Look, the crowds! The Wiggles floating balloons! The souvenir bags!

EggEgg was puzzled and stunned into silence when it wasn't the Wiggles who appeared first on stage. And when the real Wiggles did come on, he was again in awe. Total silence. It was only towards the later part of the concert that he began to warm up and dance.

After the lively performance, we shared a sweet happy ice cream in the foyer. I asked EggEgg, "How was the concert?"

He nodded, "好好睇. Very very good." It is the first time ever that he linked the words very-very together. I consider it the ultimate seal of approval.

All day and night, EggEgg can't stop singing at the top of this voice, in his limited Chin-glish:

牛皮哪撈! 牛皮哪撈! Hot Potato! Hot Potato!

Jingle Jingle Little Tar! Twinkle Twinkle Little Star!

Wiggle and learn. 烏咚咚命釘! Wiggle and learn. Dance to rhythm of music!

Well done. Now I have gained another live-performance comrade.
